Serving others is my life's calling. I was 17 years old when I entered West Point in June 1988. Commissioned in '92 in the Field Artillery, I loved the next 20 years and had the privilege of leading and caring for Soldiers and their families. Upon retirement in 2012, I seized the opportunity to serve others in a new, significant way through New York Life. I am humbled and driven by the trust my clients place in me to guide them towards achieving their goals. It's an enormous responsibility that I never take lightly. Every solution I offer is done with the sole purpose of optimizing my clients' value in pursuit of their goals. I take great satisfaction in helping my clients develop and implement financial strategies that position them as wisely as possible for the future. The work I do for my clients excites me. Every day I get to help great men, women, and families prepare for the future they want for themselves. How many professions get to make that big of an impact? I absolutely love what I do for others!
I'm blessed with a very independent 8-yr old, Emily Rose, who has me completely wrapped around her finger. I enjoy hunting, firearms, sports, old cars, and music. We're active in the area. I am the past President (twice) for Network Lawton-AM. I had the privilege to learn as part of Leadership Lawton-Fort Sill Class XXV, and am now on the Leadership Lawton-Fort Sill Board of Directors. I also serve on the Executive Committee for the Fires Chapter of AUSA, as a Redcoat Ambassador with the Lawton Chamber of Commerce, and serve on the Fort Sill Retiree Council. I called First Baptist East in Lawton, OK, my church home for many years, teaching Sunday School, serving as Director for a young adults Sunday School Department, and on their Personnel Committee, In 2016, God led to me to what is now Christ's Fellowship Church in Lawton where I serve on their Finance Committee. In March 2020, I began service with the Paradise Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
